my name is Holly Smith and if you suffer from HS than I have something to tell you so unbelievable, so downright rotten…it still sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it.

If you suffer even one day longer from this humiliating disease because I was too scared to expose the lies of the medical establishment …than I’m guilty of the same crime they have been committing for over 73 years.

“Holly, when I found your page I angry at the world for not wanting to understand my disease. No one could help me. I really did not trust your HS Miracle but I was too desperate not to try. Now, a week later, you turned me into a believer. I still don’t understand how […” target=”_blank”> can have such a huge impact on my skin.

All I know is that I’ll continue to follow the path you laid out. I don’t doubt a second I’ll conquer this disease completely with you help. Miracles do happen it seems.’ Fernanda Garcia, CA

I was 14 when I discovered the first little pimples. Nobody thought much of it. Just another teenager with acne.

Than the flare-ups began. They were ugly. But what was worse was…they were completely out of my control.

It was as if my body had turned against me. As if it would use every opportunity to humiliate me in front of those who I desperately wanted to like me.

It was my freshman year in highschool. It was the time when others made new friends. When boys turned from being silly to being interesting.

And right there I was…sitting in the middle of a class…with my white t-shirt…when a violent flare-up began. It started to drain…continually…

Pray to God no one would look at me…pray to God no one would notice the smell…and pray to God I wouldn’t just die that very moment out of pure humiliation and embarrassment.

I still don’t know how I made it through that class. All I remember is how I ran to the bathroom…how I couldn’t stop crying…how I just tried to stop it somehow…and how I didn’t understand why this happened to me. Why was I punished so mercilessly?

While everyone was going out, seeing people and fooling around I locked myself in my room. I was too ashamed of how I looked.

I never told my parents and it took me years to find the courage to even show the bumps under my arms, my inner thighs and my buttocks to a doctor.

By then I was in my early twenties already but I still felt like a monster and that evil voice in my head suggested the doctor might chain me away in a dungeon for being some sort of mutant.

But the doctor didn’t. In fact, she was very understanding. She immediately sent me to a dermatologist.

The waiting room of that guy was plastered with diplomas. It seemed like there wasn’t a certification or qualification he did not have. No wonder my doctor had praised him as the best in the entire state.

It took him just one brief look at my bumps. Then he got a very sad expression on his face. It was clear I was in for bad, for horrible news.

A moment I considered just running out of his practice…running from the inevitable fate rearing its ugly head.

He said he was sorry. I nodded. I had shut down. All I could see was the endless sea of loneliness ahead of me…

I lived like a hermit. Anyone who tried to get close to me I pushed away in fear they might find out. My only “intimate’ contacts were when I went to the doctor to get my bumps lanced and drained…and the day before those appointments my anxiety level was always through the roof.

But then I met him. It was in the Starbucks close to my faculty. He didn”t ride in on a white horse…though to me, he could have as well.

I couldn’t take my eyes off him no matter how hard I tried. He must have noticed because he looked back… and smiled! Even more…he came over to me and introduced himself.

He asked for my number before he excused himself. I couldn’t believe it. He really seemed to like me!

I felt liked being pulled apart. I wanted to see David again…but I was sure he’d run away screaming once he found out how disgusting I looked. I needed a miracle.

I turned to the only friends I had…books. After having stayed in my room for months getting killed by boredom I had discovered the library.

While others found new love…I found…a new book. It had become my habit to walk the aisles of the library, randomly pick out a book and start reading it.

This was exactly what I did now. I did not search for anything specific. I just wanted to keep my mind busy not thinking about terrible skin.

By chance I picked up an old book. A book I literally had to blow the dust off before opening it. No one had touched it in years.

It was about a dentist from Ohio by the name of Weston A. V. Price who asked a question most doctors nowadays couldn’t care less about:

Dr. Price wondered if it was normal for people to suffer from health issues. He couldn’t believe the miracle design of our body contained that many flaws. It just didn’t make sense.

For this reason he decided to travel back in time and see if people had always had these health issues…or…if they were somehow caused by our modern lifestyle.

Of course Dr. Price did not have a time machine. Keep in… Read more…
